Mis hermanos y hermanas en Cristo.
Ahora que empezamos la Semana Santa, celebramos el misterio central de nuestra fe.
La Iglesia enfoca nuestra atención en la ultima semana de la vida terrenal de nuestro Señor.
Al empezar esta semana tan solemne, caminemos cada uno de nosotros con Cristo desde el Domingo de Ramos hasta el gozo de la Pascua, la gran fiesta de la Resurrección.
Esta es una gran estación de gracia. Como amantes de Cristo, estamos invitados a adorar a nuestro Señor y, a expresar nuestra fe y amor a Él.
Rezó porque cada uno de nosotros aproveche en su totalidad las gracias con las que Cristo nos espera. Estemos verdaderamente con Cristo desde La Ultima Cena y el servicio de Viernes Santo y en el gozo de la Pascua. No puede haber un Domingo de Pascua sin un Viernes Santo.
Que nuestra fe nos lleve al Cristo quien constantemente nos llama hacia Él. Que Dios los bendiga y que tengan una Feliz Pascua.
St. Katharine Drexel parish is looking for young ladies to participate in the Miss Cinco de Mayo Pageant, which will be held on April 30 at the Knights of Columbus. As a participant you are required to represent St. Katharine Drexel in a positive manner, assist with ticket sales, assist with fundraisers, and attend required Miss Cinco de Mayo meetings.
The Church is also looking for donations for the Silent Auction, Bingo, Loteria, game prizes & also your generous monetary donation.
La Parroquia de Santa Catarina Drexel está buscando jovencitas para que participen en la Pasarela de Miss Cinco de Mayo, que se llevara a cabo el 30 de Abril en el salón de los Caballeros de Colón. Como participante tendrías que representar a Santa Catarina Drexel en una manera positiva, asistir en venta de boletos, asistir en cada junta para Miss Cinco de Mayo.

Whole Community Catechesis (family night) has been canceled for Monday, April 5th and Wednesday, April 7th.
There will be regular CCE classes that Monday night for Jr. High students and that Wednesday night for Sr. high students.

We celebrate the central mystery of our faith as we begin the Holy Week. The Church focuses our attention on the last week of our Lord’s earthly life.
As we begin this solemn week, let us each walk with Christ from Palm Sunday to the joy of Easter, the great feast of the Resurrection.
This is one great season of grace. As lovers of Christ, we are invited to worship our Lord and express our faith and love to Him.
I pray that each of us will take full advantage of the graces of Christ that awaits us. Let us truly stand with Christ from the Lord’s Supper of Holy Thursday and the Good Friday service to the joy of Easter. There cannot be an Easter Sunday without a Good Friday.
May our faith lead us to the Christ who constantly calls us to Himself. May God bless you and Happy Easter.

Si están programados para servir el Viernes Santo, entonces están requeridos a asistir al ensayo en Domingo de Ramos, Marzo 28 a las 4:30 PM.
Si están programados para servir la noche del Sábado Santo en la Vigilia de la Pascua entonces están requeridos a asistir al ensayo la mañana del mismo Sábado Santo Abril 3 a las 10:00 AM. Los Lectores también necesitan asistir a este ensayo.

Attention altar servers and parents: If you are scheduled to be an altar server at the Mass of the Lord’s Supper on Holy Thursday evening you are required to attend a rehearsal on Palm Sunday March 28th at 4PM.
If you scheduled to serve on Good Friday you are required to attend a rehearsal on Palm Sunday March 28th at 4:30 PM.
If you are scheduled to serve at the Easter Vigil Holy Saturday night you are required to attend the rehearsal on Holy Saturday morning April 3 at 10:00 AM. Lectors also need to attend this rehearsal.
