Adult Volunteers Needed for Catechist Positions

At this time, recruitment for adult volunteers as Catechist is in progress. Various grade levels are available and training for this ministry will begin in August. If you have a desire to share your faith, have some background in the Bible and basic beliefs of the Catholic Church, and can commit to faith formation for self through attendance at meetings, workshops, etc., then you are qualified to minister as a catechist. Anyone interested in this ministry can contact Lucille Pavlock at 979-826-2275 Monday – Thursday.

Voluntarios adultos necesarios para trabajos Catequista

Las catequistas estarán recibiendo entrenamiento durante el mes de Agosto para prepararlos para las clases de catecismo. En este momento estamos necesitando catequistas para diferentes niveles. Se necesitan voluntarios adultos. Si usted tiene el deseo de compartir su fe y tiene algo de conocimiento de la Biblia, de las creencias básicas de la Iglesia Católica y puede comprometerse a tener una formación de fe por sí mismo por medio de asistencia a reuniones, talleres, etc., entonces usted tiene las cualificaciones necesarias para el ministerio de catequista. Rifa

Su comité de rifa 2010 está en pleno desarrollo en la planificación del bazar de nuestra Iglesia Santa Katharine Drexel. Dinero se solicita y se recoge en cualquier cantidad, grande o pequeña. Hay planes de tener un gran premio de $ 5,000.00 y “mas premios” todo en forma de tarjetas de regalo Visa. Necesitamos su ayuda, su contribución puede ser en cualquier cantidad, haga un cheque a St. Katharine Drexel, ponga que es para la Rifa del Bazar. Nuestra rifa es una gran parte de nuestro bazar. Todos los premios dependen de la aportación de las donaciones que recibimos. Necesitamos su compromiso ahora y su pago en septiembre. Para que podamos imprimir los boletos y tener los listos para empezar a distribuirlos. Cualquier pregunta por favor llame a la Coordinadora Hedwig Konieczny (979) 826-2631. Planta Booth

Preparación del Bazar de Santa Katharine Drexel 2010. Queremos que el bazar de este año sea uno de los mejores. Si usted piensa que no tiene nada con que ayudar, piense otra vez, muchos de nosotros nos encanta tener flores o plantas verdes, trate de preparar sus plantas que tenia a todo su esplendor esta primavera, podemos utilizarlas para el puesto de plantas. Si todos trabajamos juntos podremos hacer algo.

Voluntarios Regístrate

Tendremos inscripciones para qué se apunten para los puestos del bazar. Nos gustaría que los voluntarios se registren para los puestos o simplemente para trabajar donde quiera. Tendremos mesas en afuera después de cada misa por los siguientes dos fines de semana, y los volveremos hacer de nuevo cuando estemos más cerca del Bazar. Raffle

Your 2010 raffle committee is in full swing in planning for our St. Katharine Drexel Church bazaar. Monies are solicited and being collected in any amount, large and small. Plans are to have a grand prize of $5,000.00 and “more prizes” all in the form of Visa Gift Cards. We need your help, your contribution can be in any amount, make check payable to St. Katharine Drexel, note it Bazaar Raffle. Our raffle is a big part of our bazaar. All prizes depend on the input of donations we get. We need your commitment now and your payment in September. So that we can get the tickets printed and have ready for distribution. Plant Booth

Preparing for St. Katharine Drexel 2010 Bazaar. We want for this year’s bazaar to be one of the best. If you think that you don’t have anything to help out with, think again many of us love to have flowers or greenery plants, try preparing your plants that you had in full bloom this spring we can use them for the plant booth. If we all work together we will be able to do something….

Volunteer Sign Up

We will have sign in sheets for the Bazaar Booths. We would like volunteers to sign up for booths or just to work where ever. We will have tables outside after each Mass for a couple week-ends, and then do it again closer to the Bazaar. You can also sign up online on our Bazaar Planning page.

Confirmation II Make Up Classes

Confirmation II students there will be some make up classes for those of you that have missed some of Sunday Confirmation II classes. We will begin with bible study on Wednesday July 28th at 6pm. Those of you doing the Sacrament of Confirmation in September have to attend these classes. Parents there will be a Confirmation II meeting which you & your teen have to attend on Sunday, August 1, 2010 at 3:00pm. It’s very important that parents attend this meeting

Estudiantes de la Confirmación II habrá algunas clases para reponer las clases que algunos de ustedes hayan faltado. Vamos a comenzar con el estudio de biblia el miércoles 28 de julio a las 6pm. Aquellos de ustedes haciendo el Sacramento de la Confirmación en septiembre deben asistir a estas clases. Padres habrá una junta de la Confirmación II que usted y su hijo tiene que asistir el Domingo, 1 de agosto 2010 a las 3:00 pm. Es muy importante que los padres asistan a esta reunión.
