Washing of the Purificators
It is simply collecting weekly all the Purificators that were used and laundering them and ironing them so they are neat and clean for reuse. There are usually 12 women who take one month a year to do this. There are always reasons why someone cannot do them and we need more people to be alternates and or take one of the months each year. There are currently openings if anyone is interested.
The Purificators must be soaked and the water poured into a flower garden or other garden, not poured down a drain. Then they are ironed while damp so they are crisp and nicely ironed. That is all it requires and only takes a couple of hours a week for only one month.
God needs his handmaids and this is a great opportunity to do service to HIM.
