Texas Rally For Life

This year marked the 35th anniversary of the Roe vs. Wade court ruling.  Since the decision, millions of unborn babies have been aborted.  The youth of our parish showed their support on January 26th as they marched with thousands of other supporters up to the steps of the capitol in Austin, TX.  I think we were the largest organized group there with 30 people there counting youth, chaperones, and a couple of families.  In all, about 20 youth went and had a great time.  They not only seemed to enjoy the travel to Austin and back but their eyes were opened to the fact that life is somehting worth fighting for and that their voice and prescence is vital to ending abortion.
