At this time, recruitment for adult volunteers as Catechist is in progress. Various grade levels are available and training for this ministry will begin in August. If you have a desire to share your faith, have some background in the Bible and basic beliefs of the Catholic Church, and can commit to faith formation for self through attendance at meetings, workshops, etc., then you are qualified to minister as a catechist. Anyone interested in this ministry can contact Lucille Pavlock at 979-826-2275 Monday – Thursday.
Los catequistas estarán recibiendo entrenamiento durante el mes de Agosto para prepararlos para las clases de catecismo. En este momento estamos necesitando catequistas para diferentes niveles. Se necesitan voluntarios adultos. Si usted tiene el deseo de compartir su fe y tiene algo de conocimiento de la Biblia, de las creencias basicas de la Iglesia Catolica y puede comprometerse a
tener una formación de fe por si mismo por medio de asistencia a reuniones, talleres, etc., entonces usted tiene las qualificaciones necesarias para el ministerio de catequista. The church is looking for a few volunteers to help water flower beds and plants on the church grounds, either in the mornings or in the evenings. We are also needing potting soil, if you can donate a bag or two please feel free of bring it to the office or you may call 979-826-2275 if you would like to contribute for potting soil. We would greatly appreciate your time & donations.
La Iglesia está necesitando varios voluntarios para que ayuden a regar las plantas al rededor de la iglesia, sea en las mañanas o en las tardes. También estamos necesitando tierra para las plantas, si usted puede donar una bolsa o dos de por favor tráigala a la oficina o llame al 979-826-2275 si usted quiere contribuye con alguno de los dos cosas.
