The Altar Society of St. Katharine Drexel would like to extend a big THANK YOU to everyone who helped in any way with the luncheon for Fr. David and the Finance Council.
We would like to especially thank the Spanish Community for their help in setting up and taking down of the tables and chairs, and decorating. The Catholic Daughters handled the desert tables beautifully, and boy was there some delicious deserts there. Also – A big thank you to Bridget and her youth who took care of us with plenty of tea and lemonade to drink.
Everyone enjoyed a good time and plenty of good food.
La Sociedad del Altar de Santa Catarina Drexel quiere darles las GRACIAS a todas las personas que ayudaron de alguna manera con la comida para el Padre David y para el Concilio de Finanzas.
En forma muy especial queremos agradecer a la Comunidad Hispana por la ayuda en poner y quitar las mesas y las sillas, por ayudar a decorar y por la deliciosa comida que trajeron. También a las Hijas Católicas que de una forma tan hermosa se encargaron de las mesas con los postres, en donde había unos postres deliciosos. También – Muchas gracias a Bridget y a los jóvenes que se encargaron de que tuviéramos suficientes bebidas de té y limonada.
Todo mundo disfrutó de un buen tiempo y de una buena y abúndate comida.

Kate’s Kitchen Dessert Auction Big Success!

On April 23rd, Kate’s Kitchen held a Dessert Auction at the K of C Fish Fry to benefit St. Katharine’s. The dessert auction was a huge success, earning $7,225 for the parish. The Knights of Columbus added $2,775 to that amount and will present a check in the amount of $10,000 to Fr. David. Our sincere thanks to all who worked so hard to make this event successful.

Second Annual Cinco de Mayo Celebration & Miss Cinco de Mayo Pageant

St. Katharine Drexel parish is looking for young ladies to participate in the Miss Cinco de Mayo Pageant, which will be held on April 30 at the Knights of Columbus. As a participant you are required to represent St. Katharine Drexel in a positive manner, assist with ticket sales, assist with fundraisers, and attend required Miss Cinco de Mayo meetings.
The Church is also looking for donations for the Silent Auction, Bingo, Loteria, game prizes & also your generous monetary donation.
La Parroquia de Santa Catarina Drexel está buscando jovencitas para que participen en la Pasarela de Miss Cinco de Mayo, que se llevara a cabo el 30 de Abril en el salón de los Caballeros de Colón. Como participante tendrías que representar a Santa Catarina Drexel en una manera positiva, asistir en venta de boletos, asistir en cada junta para Miss Cinco de Mayo.
La iglesia también está necesitando donaciones para la Subasta en Vivo, Bingo, Lotería, premios para juegos y también su generosidad de donación monetaria.
Annual Spring Turkey Dinner

Kate’s Kitchen will have its Annual Spring Turkey Dinner on Thursday, March 11th, here in the church hall, serving from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
The cost of $9.00 a plate will include your beverage and homemade dessert. All proceeds will benefit the St. Katharine Drexel Parish Loan Payment. If you have some free time to help serve or can contribute a dessert to this dinner, it would be greatly appreciated.
