    Youth are encouraged and invited to participate during 8:30am Mass as:

    • Altar servers
    • Lectors
    • Greeters
    • Ushers
    • Choir
    • Cantor

    ...Continues with Formation in the Parish Hall


    Families gather in the parish hall following 8:30am Mass

    Continues with age/grade level sessions in the parish hall 9:30am to 10:20am

    Coffee and light refreshments are served from 9:30am to 10:30am

  • Liturgical Catechesis

    What is Liturgical Catechesis?


    Monthly family/intergenerational sessions offered September through May

    -    Catechetical Sunday

    -    Priesthood Sunday/Vocations

    -    Advent Wreath Making

    -    Christmas Pageant

    -    Word of God Sunday

    -    Lent/Youth led Stations of the Cross

    -    Palm Sunday

    -    Crowning of Mary



  • Sacrament Preparation

    Sacrament of First Reconciliation

    • Children/youth complete grades 1 and 2 of faith formation
    • Two parent/guardians sessions (while children are in grade level sessions)
    • Immediate preparation of the Sacrament of Reconciliation completed as families
    • Typically celebrated during Lent of grade 2 faith formation

    Sacrament of Confirmation

    • Children/youth participate in grades 1, 2, 3 of faith formation
    • Previously celebrated First Reconciliation
    • Invited to participate in immediate preparation for Confirmation
    •  Confirmation/First Eucharist celebrated in one celebration of the Sacraments with our Bishop
    • Typically in spring of 3rd grade or fall of 4th grade based on our Bishop’s calendar/scheduling

    Sacrament of First Eucharist

    • Children completing grade 3 of faith formation
    • Having celebrated First Reconciliation
    • Are invited to particiapte in immediate preparation 
    •  Confirmation/First Eucharist are typically in the spring of at least grade 3
