Advisory Committees

Pastoral Council, Finance Committee, and other groups advise the Pastor on the needs of the parish.

Altar Servers

Children assist the priest at the altar on weekends; adults, on weekdays and at special services.

Bookstore and Library

Help households to nurture their faith through supplying books and gifts for the “domestic church.”

Charity

Feed and clothe God’s people as a Coat Rack or Sunday Breakfast volunteer. Brighten holidays with “Giving Tree” and “Spirit Bundle” volunteers.

Discussion Groups

Share your faith in men’s and women’s groups, book club, “First Things” readers, and Monday-night “Discovery” meetings.

Extraordinary Ministers of Communion

Distribute Holy Communion at Mass, in homes, and at the hospital as an Extraordinary Minister.

Faith Formation

Volunteer catechists teach children the faith on Sundays between Masses. Breakfast is served

Greeters & Ushers

Welcome and guide parishioners and our many summer visitors.

Knights of Columbus

New Hampshire’s fastest-growing chapter of this Catholic fraternal-benefits society meets monthly.

Lector

Announce the Mass and the hymns, read the Scriptures and Petitions at Mass.

Music

Sing in the Choir, be a Cantor at Mass.

Outreach

“Friendly Visitors,” Welcoming Committee, and other groups visit the homebound and welcome new parishioners.

Prayer

Join others in prayer at church or at home in one of a half-dozen prayer groups.

OCIA

(Becoming Catholic)

Order of Christian Initiation for Adults, with the help of volunteers, prepares men and women to become Catholics.

Respect Life

Take positive action to help parents through “The Light House” and “Respect Life” groups.

Sacristans

“Altar Society” volunteers prepare the Sanctuary for Masses and decorate the church for special seasons.
