What is the FATHER GEORGE HAM MEMORIAL FUND?

Father Ham was the first pastor of St. Katharine Drexel Parish. The Father George Ham Memorial Fund was established to continue his legacy of commitment and support of our young parishioners. Fr Ham believed our youth are not only the future but the present of our parish.


What has the FATHER GEORGE HAM MEMORIAL FUND done so far?

•    Supported youth on mission trips

•    Sent teens to NH Catholic Youthfest and the Steubenville East Conferences

•    Financially assisted pilgrims attending World Youth Day 2011 in Madrid, Spain

•    June 2014, the inaugural year of the Fr. George Ham Memorial Fund Scholarships given to graduating parish seniors serving their parish, school and surrounding communities as disciples of faith

•    June 2016, Mr. and Mrs. Foley along with Fr. Cole presented the first James Foley Memorial Scholarship

•    June 2018, presented the first Fr. Richard Wegman Memorial Scholarship given to a parish senior intending to pursue business, music or intentionally discern a vocation.


What is the FUTURE of the FATHER GEORGE HAM MEMORIAL FUND?

•    Continue to support youth living lives of missionary discipleship


How can you SUPPORT the FATHER GEORGE HAM MEMORIAL FUND?

•   Contribute to the Fr. George Ham Memorial Fund

•    Donate a scholarship in the name of a loved one, parish ministry or organization

    What are the Fr. George Ham Memorial Fund Scholarships?


    The Fr. George Ham Memorial Fund Scholarship was created to honor Fr. Ham’s Memory as the founding pastor of St. Katharine Drexel

    In support of Fr. Ham’s commitment to nurturing faith filled youth as not only the future of our parish, but the present of our parish community.


    It is the hope the Fr. George Ham Memorial Fund will continue to fund at least one Fr. George Ham Fund Scholarship each year.


    If you would like to support a scholarship please make a donation to the Fr. George Ham Memorial Fund. 

  • Fr. Richard Wegman

    What is the Fr. Richard Wegman Memorial Scholarship?


    This scholarship gives priority to graduating high school seniors pursuing business, music or intentionally discerning a vocation.


    Funded in memory of our beloved Fr. Wegman for the first time in 2018

    Fr. Wegman  served as Pastor of St. Joan of Arc, Alton, NH

    Served alongside Fr. Ham as we built St. Katharine Drexel Parish

    Served St. Katharine Drexel alongside Fr. Cole until his death in December 2017


    It is the hope the Fr. George Memorial Fund will continue to fund at least one Fr. Richard Wegman Memorial Scholarship each year.

  • James Foley

    What is the James Foley Memorial Scholarship?


    • This scholarship was created in 2016 in memory of James Foley
    • Presented for the first time in 2016 at KRHS by Mr. and Mrs. Foley
    • James Foley was raised in St. Cecilia Parish and is a Kingswood Regional High School graduate, Wolfeboro, NH
    • This scholarship gives priority to a graduating KRHS senior intending to major in journalism or international service

    It is the hope the Fr. George Memorial Fund will continue to fund at least one James Foley Memorial Scholarship each year.
